Can I change the orientation of my photo canvases?

Yes. If you change your mind about the canvas selected, you can change the orientation of your canvas prints between portrait and landscape in the project builder. Simply click the “Orientation” button which can be found in the navigation to the right hand side of your canvas print. You can do this at any time, but we recommend choosing your canvas orientation before you start designing your canvas print layouts. Changing orientation mid-way through your project creation may alter your design.

How can I create a collage canvas?

It’s easy to create collage canvas prints with Shutterfly. We have a wide range of pre-designed collage canvas designs and layouts in the Canvas Builder under “Layouts” > “Color Wrap”, by browsing “More Designs” or choosing “Collage Canvas” on the canvas category page. Alternatively you can create your own collage canvas design by dragging and dropping photos from your photo well onto your canvas print layout, and using the “Shuffle” button on the right hand side of your canvas layout.

Can I change the layout of my canvas to stop the photo wrapping around the sides?

To avoid photo – wrapping on your canvas edges, opt for a “Color Wrap” design. You can find “Color Wrap” designs at any time by clicking the “Layouts” button in the navigation to the left hand side of your canvas print layout window

How can I create a canvas print without photos?

The easiest way to create to create a non-photo canvas, that is a canvas print with just text and/ or embellishments, is to start by selecting a single photo design. You can find these in “Layouts” > “Photo Wrap”. From here you can remove the photo by clicking “Shuffle” and deleting the “Photo Here” section using the “trash” icon.

How many photos can I add to my canvases?

You can add as many pictures as you like to your canvas prints. However, we would recommend “less is more”, especially on our smaller canvas prints.

Do Shutterfly canvases come with hanging kits?

Easy to install hanging kits are included with our canvas prints and our framed canvases come ready to hang.
